Bess needs a patch job!
8 feet tall 5 feet wide with no neck and a circular grill for a face made me think of those old fashioned scuba masks
After drawing my first picture I thought I would also draw one of Bess, I hope this is what you imagine when you read the books of the Ketty Jay!
Also has been signed by me original work.

The Ketty Jay crew off in the north, drawn by me Giraffe Giraffe. My signature is in the picture so don’t you try stealing it ;)
Normally I wouldn’t post pictures that I draw on here since there are many people much better than myself, so why now rather than repost a picture?
Well the thing is that I have seen a lot of fan art for this series of the Ketty Jay crew, not for the ship it’self. So I thought I would draw the ship to the best of my ability on how I see it in my head.
A bulky cross between a cargo ship and a fighter, the jack of trades good at both but not the master of any. With no need for aerodynamics anymore with the use of Aerum, with machine guns on both sides on the windglass, with Malvery’s cupola on the top armed with his auto cannons. With the initials K.J on her right wing.
So feel free if you can to share a drawing on how you imagine the Ketty Jay, as I would love to have a very nicely detailed picture of it so I could get a tattoo!

Frey and Jez (c) Chris Wooding.
I laughed a lot during this scene and had always wanted to draw it. So here it is!

Everyone’s entitled to a bit of self-pity now and again; I was cramming a whole year’s worth into one night.

I really love the drawing of Jez and Silo, haven’t had the chance to read the book myself just waiting to get it back from a friend so I can read it too. I hope it’s just as exciting as the Black Lung Captain!

Book three of the Ketty Jay Crew and also the longest book of the stand alone series, haven’t had a chance to read it yet but I’m very excited to get started!

Second book of the Ketty Jay crew, personally my favorite so far and much more well written since the introductions were out of the way and all lot of the back story.
